Hello Everyone—

I know you all just finished your town hall - I hope you’re as excited as I am with the good news. Previously I sent you all a message, I expressed the following: “I am confident in this team. You all are some of the most driven and talented designers we have had the chance to collaborate with - and we’re eager for that relationship to endure.”

With your dedication and versatility, particularly over the last year, you repeatedly show that.

The community feedback from last autumn’s Project ETHOS playtest was enlightening. It validated the promise of a roguelike shooter but indicated we still had improvements to make. It uncovered the need for a sharper brand.

It’s been inspiring to see how far you’ve come. You took the criticism to consideration and reimagined the title with a revitalized vision - one that’s ready to fulfill its ambition to our audience.

Our confidence in this project increases every day. To advance the outstanding advancement you’ve made, I’m excited to welcome Ben Brinkman as the new Lead of 31st Union. After several months of conversations, he officially joins us on the specified date.

His leadership and expertise in the competitive gaming genre is considerable, having spent the last 15 years producing and overseeing some of the most popular titles in gaming, including Call of Duty: Black Ops, and most recently, Apex Legends.

Let’s together in receiving him soon. We are all looking forward to persist witnessing the evolution of Project ETHOS in the months to come.

The President

Experience of the New Leader

Brinkman previously was employed at major gaming companies in multiple development positions on the iconic franchise games, and, before that, had assignments at other industry leaders.

Game Details and Concept

Project Ethos was unveiled in October 2024 together with a community playtest. At the time, the developers presented the title as a "free-to-play, third-person perspective action-packed experience and an exciting advancement on the genre."

"Build your perfect run—or die trying—in this 3rd-person action shooter! Build your hero in live gameplay to fit your unique tactics," the description states. "Take on the competition with new abilities, challenges, and challenges that shift every round. Do you withdraw carefully with your collected items? Or aim high, gamble everything, and hope your team can achieve the highest spot? The decision is up to you."

The game does not have an announced debut schedule or consoles, but players can anticipate further news as production progresses.
